Overview of cargo data on one page.

Cargo name and its synonyms. Additional information for identification such as UN No., CAS No., Chemical formular, Molecular weight and the USCG cargo group.
Product description containing appaerence and relevant toxicocolgy information as well as special handling requirements.
Physical properties which are relevant for tank cleaning and cargo safety.
Marpol Annex and Categories. Prewash information, Ship Type, Tank Type and Hazard Class.
Several tankcleaning recipes are displayed for each cargo. Select the best fit for the required cleaning job. There is the possibility to enter the next cargo and to display only the recipes which are appropriate for the next cargo.
Recipes consist of several tank cleaning steps:

Prewash Info from MARPOL and Minimum Quantity calculation

Display of the prewash steps as required by MARPOL Annex II.
Automatic calculation of the minimum prewash quantity according to Marpol Annex II. Enter the tank volume and the residual quantity as per P&A Manual. The cargo melting point or viscoity has to be entered in case of Solidifying or High Viscosity Cargo. All other data are retrieved from the tankcleaning database. Result of the calculation is the minimum prewash quantity in m³.

Cargo Compatibility Info according to US Cost Guard

United States Coast Guard has published a compatibility matrix indicating whether a cargo can bo stowed adjacent to another cargo. This compatibility check is integrated in MIRACLE. An adjacent cargo can be selected. The database calculates the automatically combatibility. The positive and negative exception lists are integrated.

FOSFA NIOP EU

The Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations (FOSFA), the The National Institute of Oilseed Products (NIOP) and European Union (EU) have published list of acceptable and banned previous cargoes for the loading of certain edible cargoes. These list are integrated into MIRCALE. For each cargo it can be checked whether it is accpetable or banned (or not listed) as a previous cargo.

Cargo Resistance list from major coating suppliers integrated

For most cargoes the compatibility with most common coating systems can be checked automatically. The coating resistance lists of the major coating suppliers are integrated into MIRACLE. For a displayed cargo the coating in question can be selected. The result of the check is resistant, not resistant, or limited resistance (or not tested). In case of limited resistance the limitations are displayed.

Detailed listing of special requirements acc to chapter 17 column O

The International code for the construction and equipment of ships carrying dangerous chemicals in bulk (IBC Code) prescribes certain special requirements and operational requirements in chapter 17, column o. They are defined in the chapter 15 and 16 of the IBC Code. The definitions are integrated into MIRACLE, though the special and operational requirements for each Annex II cargo can be displayed directly in readable text format.

Emergency Response Information Card

Emergengy Response Information Crads are published by the CEFIC (European Chemical Industry Association). These ERI cards are integrated into MIRACLE. Though for all dangerous cargoes the Emergency response informnation can be displayed. It contains characteristics of the cargo, hazards, personal protection, intervention actions, first aid information, precaution for product recovery and precautions after intervention.

Detailed information about Draeger tubes applicable for the selected cargo

The applicable DRAEGER tubes are listed with tubename and order code, if such tubes are available for the selected cargo. In addition a picture of the tube and the instructions for use can be displayed as PDF-document.
Specific Gravity and SG correction factor. Voyage and discharge temperature. Max adjacent cargo temperature. Adjacent cargo remarks and heating remarks.
